Personal Statement

My interest in the arts sparked in Kindergarten when I began doodling My Little Pony characters. My work was first featured in 2015 when I was 7-years-old at Imagination Celebration presented by Arts Orange County and Orange County Department of Education. Since then, I have experimented with different mediums. I recently received an award at Ethan B. Allen Elementary for Creativity in December 2019.

Previous art training experience include the following:

  • Animated Characters at Westminster Community Services and Recreation Center

  • Junior Drawing and Book Artist at Chuck Jones Center for Creativity

  • Self-portrait private lessons at Studio H Fine Art

  • Fashion sketches from 5-Minute Fashion Illustration book

  • Abstract acrylic painting

  • In-school oil pastel Lighthouse Hill by Edward Hopper painting

  • Udemy online classes - drawing, oil painting, graphic design, photography, and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects

  • Sewing classes at Piecemakers in Costa Mesa

Fine arts is a source of fun and entertainment for me. I simply enjoy being able to put my creativity down on paper or through digital format. My fashion illustrations have come to life through costume design. My nature and product photography are edited in Photoshop. I use Illustrator to design event flyers for local organizations. I edit motion graphics and fan edits in After Effects. I’m inspired by talented artists on social media platforms as they motivate me to see art through a different lens.
